Natalija has born in Milan to an Irish geologist from Belfast and a Croatian/Jewish mother. A fluent Italian speaker, she did not manager to master the English language until the tender age of 5 (too many problems with the 'th' sound). An avid lover of cats, she currenly has two: Rocco and Luca. Raised in wierd and wonderful places like Belfast and Dhahran in Saudi Arabia she has survived both the heat of the desert in the middle of Saudi and Belfast during the height of the troubles. When not promoting Rocco Deluca, Talia, as she's affectionately known amongst friends, can be found tinkering on her debut novel 'Surviving the Sava', digging in the dirt, singing ABBA songs like 'Dancing Queen' to her cats, doing charity work and dancing badly in the back of the pub after too many drinks. She hopes to one day collect the Pulitzer but will accept any literary prize coming her way in the meantime. Her favorite expression is : "Yes but...no but...yes but" which means nothing outside of the UK. She has been asked to write a cat blog for the website www.petstreet.co.uk Watch out pet lovers! Obviously, Rocco Deluca, Brett Bixby, CPO, Buchanan, Twelvehourmary, U2, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse....
Anything with real characters (usually with character actors like Steve Buscemi), an intriguing plot and no neat endings.
Uh, well I am writing my debut novel 'Surviving the Sava' but if I want a classic it has to be Hemingway.... Truman Capote. If I want Lit-lite it'll have to be Plum Sykes, Douglas Coupland and Brett Easton-Ellis.
People of Interest:I admire Marianne Pearl for her courage, grace and wisdom faced with chaos and gut wrenching pain.
Places of Interest:I like to find nooks and crannies of London that I haven't noticed before and explore. You'll be amazed and what you can find up a back passage or alleyway! Edinburgh is great for this.
Things of Interest:Things? Hmmmm my cats are very important 'things' in my life: Rocco and Luca. You can visit them at :
